Rental Information
We DO NOT rent any equipment of any kind. We DO NOT rent the Ranges/Clubhouse to private individuals.
Since our club was built by our members for our members, priority will be given to:
Youth groups
Non-profit community groups
Other Rod and Gun Clubs
Law enforcement training (governmental)
For profit businesses
Rental fees and protocol for the Squamish Valley Rod and Gun Club:
• Day rental of Ranges and (or) Club House by organizations: Renters must provide written proof of $2,000,000 liability coverage naming The Squamish Valley Rod and Gun Club as insured. Rates depend on the number of ranges and/or facilities rented and the nature of your function.
• Evening rental of Club House by organizations: Renters must provide written proof of $2,000,000 liability coverage naming The Squamish Valley Rod and Gun Club as insured.

When a range or the club house is rented; the range and (or) the club house is closed to club members during the rental period. A minimum of 30 days notice of a request to rent is required and 90 days is preferred. Range rentals are limited to no more than 3 days in one week, and no more than 2 days the following week. Ranges are only available for rent on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Rental of facilities are restricted during peak use by members i.e. prior to and during early hunting season (No rentals August 15 – October 31).
Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and Statutory Holidays are reserved for club members only - No Rentals.
Organizations renting our facilities must provide proof of $2,000,000 liability coverage naming the SVRGC as insured before rental confirmation. Range rules are those posted for SVRGC members and required by law. When exclusive use by Law Enforcement Agencies, the Law Enforcement regulations shall prevail. There must be a designated Range Officer for each of the ranges rented.
Enforcement agency personnel who are also members of the club must follow Squamish Valley Rod and Gun Club rules and regulations when they use the ranges when not rented by their agency. They must sign in using their membership number - not their agency ID; not be in uniform, in enforcement vehicles or use silhouette targets. They are simply regular members at that time.

Guest Fees & Info
Regular Use
• Non-members may attending at a non club event only as a guest of a adult member in good standing. The Day fee is $10.00 per guest.
• Adult members in good standing may sign in up to 2 guests.
• All members are responsible to see that their guests pay day fees and adhere to the Club’s Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct Policy.
• Coaches/Observers who are attending with a member are exempted from day/event fees providing they are not doing any shooting or archery. If attending with a member, their name(s) must be entered in the sign in book under the ‘Guest” column with “coach” or “observer” beside their name.
THE GUEST'S LEGAL NAME AND ADDRESS MUST BE WRITTEN ON THE FORM AND THEY MUST SIGN THE WAIVER, PLACE IN THE ENVELOPE WITH DAY FEE ENCLOSED AND PUT IN THE DAY FEE BOX (Fee Box located at club house entrance).
THE CLUB CARETAKER WILL NOTIFY CLUB EXECUTIVE OF MEMBERS WHOSE GUESTS HAVE NOT PAID THE DAY FEE AND/OR OF ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE CLUB’S RULES AND REGULATIONS/CODE OF CONDUCT.
Scheduled Club Events
• Day fee does not apply to guests of a member attending a regularly scheduled event (shooting or archery) such as the monthly Pistol, 22 Silhouette, Rifle or Trap Prize shoots, where a prize is offered. Registration form must filled out at the shoot. Individuals cannot participate in regularly scheduled club events where no prize is offered (Archery practice, trap practice etc.) who are not the guest of a member.
• Club events are open to any participant and are not subject to the day fee, where there is a “Prize Fee” or “Registration Fee”.
